Also a cut -out line page( actual size of cat door) comes with that so it's so easy and convenient to measure it on door.Cat door from paws door is the most convenient and very good and home friendly. One cat did really well learning how to get in and out the other is taking more time to learn. It is nice material, it will lock either way so if you want to let cats out of an area but not let them back in or visa versa, Or lock it from opening either way as well. We did cut the whole and let the cats come through whole for a day then installed the door, with a little coaching they realized they could push the cat door and come through.
