I just opened the box today to get ready for my handlebar swap and found poor craftsmanship on the welds. I should had open the box as soon as I received, and that's on me. However the welds stands out pretty bad. One of the welds have a air hole in it. I am going to reach out to tigergate company and see if they can replace them, but due to my late inspection it's doubtful. I will update if their customer service department reaches back out to me. UPDATE, The Tigergate customer service has reached out to me and gave me a full refund with an apology. I have seen other Tigergate bars and they looked great, I believe that this was a one off. The only bad spots on these bars were the two welds at the top, the rest of the bars looked fantastic. This seller in my opinion went well above due to my lack on timeliness of my complaint. I will 100% buy the exact same bars again. This seller is the type of sellers I want to do business with. Thank you for being a honest and reputable seller. Review: Road guide meat hooks handlebars prewired - Bolted right up plugged right in like the description said look very well for fraction of the price 10 out of 10 very reliable sturdy. Don’t have any wiggle room and I’m with the grommets really nice. ## Features - Fitment list: For 2016-2023 Touring Road Glide. (Please ❗Note 1: For CVO & Ultra bikes, the alignment pin hole is on the left side of the bar bottom which is different from our bar, but if you still like our bars, you can use a plier to pull the alignment pin on the risers out to fit our bars, or drill an extra hole on the left side of the bar bottom to fit, thx ❗Note 2: The bottom-to-top rise for this bar is 18", bottom-to-grip end rise is 16") - 👍Convenient Pre-wired: TIGERSGATE Road Glide Bars have been pre-wired with CAN-Bus switch control wires, and Throttle by Wire(TBW) harness. To help simple wiring work! - ❗❗Note-the TBW routing plan: (Please click the video at the page bottom to see how to splice the TBW wires) ---We pre-wired extra long TBW wires to meet different needs, so you have to Cut & Splice both the bike's & our TBW wires at right hand grip part due to limited handlebar space. ❗No need to pull out the prewired TBW wire and reroute the TBW wire which is painful.(NOTE❗: please msg us for TBW wires connection instructions if you need, thanks) - High-Strength Upgraded Steel: Made of high-strength upgraded steel, our FLTR (Road Glide), FLTRXS (Road Glide Special), FLTRX (Road Glide Custom) ape hangers have better strength, toughness, and safety than iron ones. With a solid structure and high tensile strength, they ensure a long service life for your motorcycle - Enhanced Safety and Comfort: The anti-slip knurl design provides a non-slip and tight , improving the safety of your motorcycle. The larger pipe diameter (1 1/2") also provides a more comfortable grip experience, and the handlebar pullback offers an ergonomic fit that reduces stress and pain in the neck, back, and shoulders. - Easy to Install Castle-Shaped End: With a pre-cut castle-shaped end on the right side of the handlebar and pre-drilled wire holes, installation is a breeze. Plus, the polished edges provide a clean look that complements the muscular appearance of the larger diameter handlebar. - Package List: 1 * pre-wired handlebar, 1 * Can-Bus switch control harness, 1 * TBW (throttle by wire), and 1 * easy installation tools kit. 5 engineers are always online, solving any problems in time, just find Tigersgate's email in About Seller Profile and get in touch. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09TKHND51 | | Best Sellers Rank | #920,902 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #579 in Powersports Handlebars | | Brand | TIGERSGATE | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (38) | | Date First Available | June 20, 2022 | | Item Weight | 11.88 pounds | | Manufacturer | Jiangmen Taikaiwei Technology Co., Ltd. | | Manufacturer Part Number | TIGERSGATE-PRE-28 | | Product Dimensions | 37 x 13.5 x 0.1 inches | ## Product Details - **Brand:** TIGERSGATE - **Color:** Chrome - **Item Weight:** 11.9 Pounds - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 37"L x 13.5"W ## Images ![Black PREWIRED 1.5" Fat 16" Ape Hanger for 16-23 Road Glide - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Gy-OjDviL.jpg) ![Black PREWIRED 1.5" Fat 16" Ape Hanger for 16-23 Road Glide - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71XJiA5Pc2L.jpg) ![Black PREWIRED 1.5" Fat 16" Ape Hanger for 16-23 Road Glide - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/716MSmHmFoL.jpg) ![Black PREWIRED 1.5" Fat 16" Ape Hanger for 16-23 Road Glide - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81yU3rQJlHL.jpg) ![Black PREWIRED 1.5" Fat 16" Ape Hanger for 16-23 Road Glide - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71QoZGEQN9L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (UPDATE, PROBLEM CORRECTED) Bad craftsmanship, poor welds. *by C***N on February 24, 2025* I bought the chrome pre-wired 16" Roadglide bars back in October 2024. Don’t have any wiggle room and I’m with the grommets really nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pre-Wired - YES - - - Right locations - NO *by W***. on February 10, 2025* Solid looking bars. I would give a 5-star review however the heated grip wiring was on the throttle side and not the clutch side - had to rewire. Also the pre-wired throttle comes without the assembly and most assembly isn't plug and play have to run the wires or cut and tape. So we have to do modifications to get to work - hopefully it does. Website didn't work, sent message on FB to get wiring diagram to ensure proper connections and haven't heard back. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/474434623-black-prewired-1-5-fat-16-ape-hanger-for-16](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/474434623-black-prewired-1-5-fat-16-ape-hanger-for-16) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
