This is a really easy piece of equipment to put in a back of a very large backseat or truck you simply adjust the straps click them together this is a really easy peace equipment to put in the back of a very large backseat or truck you Cynthia just the straps click them together feel the pockets if you want put your dog or your cats or whatever animal you got with you in the backseat and go.**UPDATE**Two weeks later and three adventures in the car leads to several washing on delicate and hang dry. I noticed, how much the material is not as durable as advertised. I saw small holes starting to form from my dog's nails which are trimmed.The hammock does slide around and does not stay in place. The sides are not long enoughto keep the side flaps down from getting dog hair on the cloth seats. Yes, the material keeps wetness away and off my seats. No, the material is not strong and durable for 75 lbs plus dogs. In the long run i would never purchase this seat cover/hammock for my car.
