I'm not positive on the finish. I think it's either plain or tactical (definitely not the gloss). Sorry to not be sure on the finish. **Q: Will this fit a sig sauer p226 mk25 magazine?** A: I think this is too big. Look for a size 4 magazine pouch. First off, it's Safariland so you know its good quality but the best part is how much smaller it is that my previous mag holders, it really helps to free up space on my belt. The position of the magazines is great too, easy to grab and reload. Mags stay secure with enough tension that I am not worried about them falling out accidentally while at the same time easy enough to draw smoothly for reloads.
