It provides both Rig Control and Audio interfaces. By default it's configured for 3.3v logic level for the rig control, but can be re-wired for RS232 levels. Supports most radios I can think of. You will need to use a soldering iron to reconfigure some of the options but the website is very supportive and videos exist of how to do this, and besides, if you're buying this you should know how to use a soldering iron. I made my own cables (For Icom IC-7000) and it all just worked as it was supposed to. Use it mostly with WSJT-X. The unit needs the correct leads for the radio to control the cat (computer aided transceiver) and audio in/out. I use it portable for ft8 and ft4 with a yaesu ft-857d and an ft-817.
