Of course the unit is discontinued so this is a great replacement part. It fits snugly and works great. Review: Suitable replacement - After the brush motor went on my Hoover flair and my search for a replacement was unsuccessful, I found this. While it's no brush motor it does the trick on low pile carpet and replaces the head perfectly with no adapters. The head doesn't allow for the vacuum to stand upright but I had no expectations for it to do so, even the original head had a stability issue.
