It had an odor that put me off at first (fresh treated leather smell, perhaps), but that faded after a few days. If you're comparing to the quality of Bandolier products, the strap is thinner and one-sided, and not adjustable, and the hooks are smaller and rather thin (necessary to the design), but the case itself is really terrific. For about half the cost or less, I consider this a superior value.Convenience and protection: I use wireless earbuds for calls, so the folio design is exactly right for me, offering the best protection and convenience for when I don't want to carry a handbag. The slots hold my DL and CC, and I hide a couple folded 20s for emergency cash in the pocket under the card slots. The plastic case holding the phone fits VERY snugly (it was difficult to insert the phone, but is now holding it securely) and does not obstruct the screen at all. There is also an attached plug to protect the charging port from dust/debris--it is rather stiff to move out of the way, but seems to be loosening up a bit after a few uses.Wireless charging: So far, I have not been able to make this work with any of my wireless chargers, probably because the raised metal snap on the back side of the case prevents the case from lying flat in the middle on my 3" round and larger charging pads. I never considered the other brand for my iPhone 8 because of the card slots and snap on the backs of those cases.Summary: I will possibly purchase this same case for my next phone; make that definitely if the snap gets moved to the flap side of the case. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love this cell phone purse *by C***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 3, 2018* I love this cell phone purse.
