During first use it was "buzzing", most likely because the pipe was closed, therefor no water pressure. This issue resolved after opening the pipe. I use the valve for periodic irrigation (timer switch between wallbox and valve). My initial concern with insulation issues didn't materialize, the usual insulation for flat-pin connectors works perfectly.
