## Description

You will receive a live Nepenthes Titan's Mirror in a plug of moss, an appropriate sized pot for growing it, and enough high quality New Zealand sphagnum moss to plant it. Nepenthes Titan's Mirror, which is N. truncata x mira, is an exclusive hybrid produced by Predatory Plants. The female parent is an enormous N. truncata called "Titan", and the male is a beautiful pinkish-orange N. mira we call "Mirror". You can see the parents in the final photo. The offspring have all been fast-growing and vigorous, with large, long-lasting red-orange pitchers and nice truncate leaves. The first photo is of a larger pitcher, the rest are representative of what is for sale. These will grow very rapidly once they're in your collection, and are sure to be star plants in no time! These plants must be kept damp at all times, but should not be soaking wet at any time. It is also important that the plant be watered with distilled water, reverse osmosis water, or rain water because regular tap water can be deadly to carnivorous plants. Nepenthes are tropical pitcher plants from Southeast Asia. They produce colorful pitchers at the end of each leaf. These pitchers are filled with digestive fluid for trapped insects. These plants can be grown on a sunny windowsill, in artificially-lit terrariums, or in mild outdoor climates if exposed to filtered sunlight. They should be protected from extremely hot and extremely cold weather if grown outdoors.

**Q: Are these seed grown? How big are they**
A: All specimens are seed grown. From the description regarding size: "The first photo is of a larger pitcher, the rest are representative of what is for sale."

**Q: How big can the traps git on the titan's mirror?**
A: This is unknown because none of these plants have been grown to maturity. The female Nepenthes truncata that produced these seeds is very large, and can easily make 15" pitchers.

**Q: "Detailed caresheet and planting guide included", can someone give me a summary of the care instructions?**
A: Bright, filtered sun. Day temps up to 90, night temps down to 50. Soil damp all the time but not soaking. Should use distilled, reverse osmosis, or rain water. Higher humidity is generally better.

This guy is growing slowly but steadily on my window sill. East facing. I give him plenty of distilled water and love catching ants to feed him.Cool hobby. Just make sure you buy distilled water and have a relatively sunny spot inside!

The N.Titan's Mirror came in very good condition, as it sat in the box for a couple of days till I returned from a trip.  It has 3 pitchers on it and is looking very good in its new pot.
