I am fairly sure it will also work with the railway race set since that appears to be trackmaster track, which has been interchangeable for my grandsons. Son loves it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hold up well *by C***L on July 11, 2025* My 4-year-old is obsessed with anything related to trains, especially Thomas & Friends, so this fire engine was an instant hit. He recognized the character right away from the show and was so excited to see it actually move on its own. He plays with it constantly—on tracks, off tracks, even just rolling it around the floor by hand—and it’s held up surprisingly well through all kinds of rough play. As a parent, I’ve been really impressed with how solid it is. It’s been dropped more times than I can count, sometimes thrown (unintentionally, during extra enthusiastic play), and it’s still running perfectly. The details are nice, and the moving parts haven’t loosened up or broken off like I’ve seen happen with other similar toys. I also like that it runs on regular batteries and doesn't go through them too quickly. It’s been a fun addition to the little train world he’s built up and fits in well with the rest of the pieces from the same line.
