**Q: Will a regular Flathead or Phillips screwdriver work or I need special?**
A: A properly sized a Phillips screwdriver will work but can round off the Pozi Cross head. The best thing is to buy Pozi-Drive Bit Tip Set such as the DEWALT DW2069 1-Inch Pozi-Drive Bit Tip Set, 3-Piece $8.31 on Amazon.
Pre-drilling the screws' pilot holes is a must and usually done with a 5mm drill.

**Q: Do these work with Ikea furniture?**
A: Yes, in some situations.  I'm sure they don't in all situations.

**Q: Will these work for the Galant Desk top?**
A: They work in every piece of Ikea furniture I own; from draw rails to door hingrs, plus more...

**Q: Would these work well  in 3/16" predrilled holes (my  closet organizer)?**
A: Yes, but they will likely be too long if you need to use them in the same hole on both sides of the panel.

I had no idea that these things existed. Great solution to fastening things to thinner materials.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work Well for Certain Applications in Pre-Drilled Wood

Used these for particle board applications where regular screws tend to break down the binding glue and come out more easily. Important not to put in too tight and to pre-drill holes exactly to recommended size if possible. They are good for shear loads (such as drawer slides and some shelving, but should not be used for tension joints). You can set them with a regular Phillips head, but a Pozi head will give you a better feel for the correct torque. I have no experience using them in MDF, but think they would be OK. I prefer regular screws for solid woods and plywoods.
