Review: Much better than I expected! - Surprisingly, this is not a third party product but an official licensed one. The material is good with thick padding on the chest and shoulder. I am 6’9” tall, 180lbs weight and the xl size fits me perfectly. My only complaint is the helmet is not big enough to fit my big head but fortunately, I already have another official helmet, sword and shield. As you can see in my attached photo, the overall result looks so good! I really feel I am Optimus Prime now. Alough it is really a little bit pricey, I still think it worthies every penny I paid. Review: Great costume - I am very happy with this purchase. Material is pretty decent. It did fit me a bit tight. I’m 5’6 255lbs and it fit me pretty tight. This will fit someone around 200-230 easy and comfortably. I saw comments about the face mask arriving damaged. I was scared I would get the same. But mine actually came in great condition. As shown in the pictures. ## Features - Transform into a Hero: Become the legendary Autobot leader with this Men's Deluxe Transformers 5 Optimus Prime Costume, perfect for Transformers cosplay and Halloween parties. - Superior Comfort and Fit: The jumpsuit features a hook and loop fastener at the center back, along with foam armor and quilted fiberfill padding in the chest for a muscular and heroic look. - Detailed and Durable Design: Made from 100% polyester jersey knit fabric and fiberfill with 100% polyurethane foam, this costume offers durability and detailed printed graphics for an authentic Optimus Prime appearance. - Complete the Look: Includes a molded plastic helmet with 2 main pieces that connect with hook and loop fasteners and 2 side pieces that attach easily, providing a secure and comfortable fit with eye slits for limited vision. - Officially Licensed Authenticity: Officially licensed by Transformers, this costume is perfect for dedicated fans looking to bring the iconic Optimus Prime to life for any event or cosplay gathering. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06WW5M6T4 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | Medium Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #396,708 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #3,062 in Men's Costumes | | Brand Name | Disguise | | Care instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Closure Type | Hook and loop tape | | Color | Blue | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 370 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Polyester | | Fabric type | 100% Polyester | | Fit Type | regular | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Positive | | Garment Size Country | United States | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00039897224633 | | Import Designation | Imported | | Included Components | Jumpsuit with attached 3D shoulder pieces, detachable hip armor and helmet | | Item Type Name | Adult Sized Costumes | | Item Weight | 2 pounds | | Manufacturer | Disguise Costumes | | Material | Polyester | | Neck Style | Stand-Up Collar | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday, Cosplay, Costume Party, Halloween, Party | | Origin | Imported | | Part Number | 22462C | | Pattern | Character | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Size | XX-Large | | Sleeve Length Description | Sleeveless | | Special Features | Wrinkle Resistant | | Special Sizes | Plus Size | | Style Name | Men's Deluxe Transformers 5 Optimus Prime Costume - Transformers Optimus Prime Cosplay Outfit Suit for Adults | | Style Number | 22462C | | Theme | Transformers | | UPC | 039897224633 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | character | Optimus Prime | ## Images ![Men's Optimus Prime Deluxe Adult Costume - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61KZ-45HzeL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I’m 6”2ish 180 would the first XL fit me or would I have to go to the middle option** A: Yes, I’m 6’5 and 180lbs… weighing about the same I would be a little taller and a little thinner, but extra-large worked pretty good for length and it wasn’t snug but worked well with the shoulder pads and everything else. **Q: Q: what size would fit me? Material is pretty decent. It did fit me a bit tight. I’m 5’6 255lbs and it fit me pretty tight. This will fit someone around 200-230 easy and comfortably. I saw comments about the face mask arriving damaged. I was scared I would get the same. But mine actually came in great condition. As shown in the pictures. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It made Halloween with my Grandson Perfect! *by K***. on November 23, 2022* The helmet is cheaply made and hot. You may need to do some customizations as I did. You will need to adjust the Velcro tabs and possibly super glue a few pieces into place. I had to cut a better opening in the bottom, due to melon-sized head. That being said, my grandson absolutely loved the fact that I dressed as Optimus Prime and he got to dress as Bumblebee. To be uncomfortable for an hour of Trick or Treating was worth the smile on his face. The Costume was very colorful and received great compliments. I would advise ordering early and actually unpacking and stuffing the shoulders and getting accessories laid out. I didn't unpack it until the day of and the shoulders were crushed a little. We made it work and had a great time. I would reccomend this costume. ## Frequently Bought Together - Disguise Men's Optimus Prime Movie Deluxe Adult Costume - Disguise Optimus Movie Shield, for 48 months to 144 months, One Size - Disguise Optimus Movie Sword, One Size --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/47680727-mens-optimus-prime-deluxe-adult-costume](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/47680727-mens-optimus-prime-deluxe-adult-costume) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
