Adjustable, easy to assemble, easy to install floor jacks are designed for use during remodeling projects to reinforce stairs, porches, decks, or weak floors. **Q: How does one "jack them up?" Can I extend these until they touch the beams under my fifth wheel and then jack them up to hold my slid out up?**
A: Yes, you turn the collar on the top of the shaft-it is threaded-to raise or lower the top plate.

**Q: how far do these expand?**
A: On the akron website and on the c-4 adjustable floor jack box itself it says the range is lowest 12" to 15" highest. I see comments that say it has a 6" range but that would not be correct for this jack and if installed to that extension would probably not be safe. That said akron does sell a large variety of adjustable floor jacks with a range of extensions. I bought this one because I had a space of about 13" that needed to go up only slightly to level out the floor.
