I wanted a cheap light bar I could put inside the rear glass of my 2021 RAM Classic 1500. I didn't want a roof mounted version and only needed it to be visible from the rear. This one has worked really well. It is bright and has many functions, including directional signals. Plugs into a cigar lighter and has a mountable control pad. I did have to screw the pad holder to my dash because the summer heat in the south kept melting the glue off the backing plate, one small screw did the trick. I've been using the lightbar for a few years now and am happy with it.

So I bought this for my truck that I go out to construction road work in. I have it mounted in my back window. The deep tint doesn’t affect it much. The long length is perfect to allow me to open my rear slider half way. I have it mounted low in the window so the 1” or so with doesn’t bisect my rear view mirror view.The suction cups don’t work really well but it’s no big deal. If it is hot or cold it doesn’t matter. They loose suction sometimes. I just stick it back in place.I really like the three instant pattern settings of direct people left or right or left and right at the same time like you are on a centerline of a road. A single button push changes the pattern.I like the custom button that allows you to select one of the 30 patterns as a preset too.The cables included are more than long enough for my super crew F150. I keep it plugged into the 12volt socket in the back of the center console and the remote up in my storage area near the climate control.I might get another one for my Kioti Tractor. I have to measure the rear window to make sure it fits as this light is long.It is worth the money and as I am typing this. A friend drove by me and asked me where I got the light. I am going to text him a link.If you’re thinking about it and need it. Then just buy it.

I recently picked up this traffic adviser light bar off Amazon, and after getting it installed and running, here’s my full take on it after some hands-on time.Packaging & Setup:The Amazon box it arrived in was slightly damaged, but the actual lightbar box inside was in perfect shape. The manual is very short, but assembly is pretty straightforward. It comes with brackets (basic, but functional), suction cups (including extras), and screws in case you want a more permanent mount. I read mixed reviews on the suction cups, so I had my own backups just in case.Build & Appearance:The light bar itself feels solid and looks great. The LED quality is impressive, only time will tell if they will last—the lights are very bright and the colors are sharp and clear. It fit nicely in the rear window of my Ford Taurus, though the window angle does make it tricky to get the bar pointing perfectly straight back. The angle adjustment hits its limit before getting quite there, so I might need to DIY a better bracket or adjust it myself later on.Brightness & Patterns:Brightness is one of the highlights here. The LEDs are strong enough to shine clearly through dark legal window tint, even in well-lit areas. It features 26 flash patterns, which is more than enough for most needs, and switching through them is simple. I set mine to pattern 7 as a favorite and love how visible it is—even in partial daylight.Controller & Usability:Here’s where it loses a star: the controller. It works, but it’s not backlit, which makes it hard to see at night unless you turn on an interior light. The way it displays active patterns is also a bit confusing—some of the light indicators bleed into others, making it tricky to tell what’s actually selected, especially on more complex patterns.Another downside: the controller mount. It comes with a plastic slide-on piece and double-sided tape, but it doesn’t clip or lock in securely, so the controller tends to shift or wobble while driving. I had to reinforce it with extra tape just to keep it in place. Definitely not ideal, and it feels like a bit of an afterthought in an otherwise solid package.Overall:This light bar looks fantastic, is easy to install, and offers strong brightness and versatile patterns. It’s great value for the price. Bought the red and white combo and was worried it would not be bright enough during daytime to be functional but I was completely wrong. The setup was super easy and the lights are super visible during the day and 10x better at night even through the dark tint I have. I would recommend these if you are looking for an affordable light that won’t cost you 300+ like Whelen and other name brands.

I'm a founding member of a Ghostbusters Cosplay group and I am kitting out a 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE with lights and a Fenix light and siren controller with a 100W speaker. I am building our my interpretation of a modern Ecto-1Running red or blue lights are illegal unless you are a police officer or firefighter respectively. Green is technically not allowed but the US forestry service in Georgia doesn't use green lights. Due to this Green is allowed to be on a vehicle if it's either not turned on, or if the vehicle is running them in a parade or is running them on private property. This is perfect for use on my front windshield as it does not obstruct my view. The lights strobe very bright, so they will be very visible even during the day.

Works well, but in only 10 months, sections of lights stopped working. This is a 5 day a week use for me

The media could not be loaded. Lights very bright as described. For sll those who are asking about hard wiring you need to look up hard wiring control box same brand as the lights. I just ordered one so will see how well it works and if it works well all edit my comments
