**Q: Is this a dry pepperoni? can it be in dry storage for at least 3 months?**
A: I would say yes,  but check with manufacturer first.

**Q: Can this be stored in the pantry or does it need refrigeration when unopened?  I know it would need to be in the fridge after.**
A: Either way. I keep it on the kitchen counter but once I cut into it I keep it in the fridge.

I usually buy the pre-sliced stuff from the supermarket but was never really happy with the taste so decided to try this one out because of all the positive reviews. Now I'm a believer. I never had to slice my own pepperoni before, since I don't have an electric slicer, so I thought this was really going to be a hassle. But after freezing it, the slicing process wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Using a really sharp, thin blade I cut both sticks within a few minutes and made over 200 pieces, enough for 18 medium, individual size pizzas. Now that's what I call a bargain, especially for pepperoni of this quality. I even have a few odd size pieces that I can throw into salads. Never again will I purchase frozen or delivered pizza. Thank you Margherita and Amazon for this amazing product.
