But its not so much that its either lighter or darker its the shade that is different. **Q: Has anyone else noticed a change in the color** A: The color has absolutely changed. I’ve worn the Translucent Light for years. It is now bright white. They changed the formula along with the packaging. I exchanged it for the Translucent, and it’s the same. It’s now thick, chalky, and bright clown white. I have never met anyone with skin lighter than mine. **Q: Is the translucent really translucent when applied to the face? Can I put it straight on my face by itself without any foundation?** A: It is translucent and can also be applied right on your skin. I use this as my only face makeup actually.
