Review: Speedy upgrade - Great NVME, used it to replace a 128gb default one that came with my laptop. Was easy to install, just opened up my laptop swapped it, fitted as expected, then screwed everything back on. Installed a fresh copy of windows and the rest is history. Much more storage and much faster, can't complain at all. I could have bought a higher tier of laptop with more storage but for the price difference buying this and fitting it made far more sense. Its been in my laptop for over 1.5 years and have had no issues. Great value for money.

**Q: Is it backwards compatible with PCI 3?**
A: Yes, PCIe is both forwards and backwards compatible. For example, this gen 4 NVMe SSD will work in a gen 3 PCIe slot, and a gen 3 NVMe SSD would also work in a gen 4 PCIe slot. Do note however that speeds will typically be reduced in doing this as Gen 3x4 can only go up to 4000MB/s or 4GB/s. This will NOT AFFECT this particular drive as it caps out at 3500MB/s anyways, but most Gen 4 NVMe SSD's start at around 5000MB/s now.

**Q: Is this ssd qlc or tlc?**
A: It could be both QLC or TLC. The 1TB I just got is QLC.

Great NVME, used it to replace a 128gb default one that came with my laptop. Was easy to install, just opened up my laptop swapped it, fitted as expected, then screwed everything back on. Installed a fresh copy of windows and the rest is history. Much more storage and much faster, can't complain at all. I could have bought a higher tier of laptop with more storage but for the price difference buying this and fitting it made far more sense. Its been in my laptop for over 1.5 years and have had no issues. Great value for money.

I purchased this to replace a failing drive on my media PC. The new drive works as expected, has decent speeds and double the capacity I had previously with minimal cost. Recommended for an OS drive for sure as this is a great make and decent drive.
