I entertain often and found that no one wanted to sit at the picnic table mid-day in the hot sun to eat! My husband put this up in about 20 minutes using some hardware I also ordered off Amazon. He used two 8ft green fence posts we had laying around and connected the 3rd corner to the house. The sail itself is a light linen/off-white/cream color which matches anything. The fabric is light and breathable, yet heavy-duty enough to withstand battering winds. Rain passes right through it and does not pool on it or weigh it down. It came with 3 ropes, one for each corner of the triangle. At my 4th of July picnic, the picnic table was full again! I want to get a few more to cover more area on my patio.
