I usually attract friends with my quirky personality. Then, INFJs need extended alone time and I take personal offense. This book helped me to understand that wanting even extended alone time is not an insult towards me personally. Hopefully, the knowledge will help me be less toxic with INFJs in the future. :( I'm close to the "INFJ Door Slam" with a new INFJ in my life-- I'm at the stage where the INFJ still responds to messages, but barely. The INFJ sometimes initiates but very rarely. I have a feeling that the INFJ finds something about me toxic (even though I gave 10 days without messaging recently as a break for the person). It's very sad to me as we were previously very close.
