Wood gives a very comfortable grip and the thickness is perfect for a guy with large hands. The straps are high quality with heavy stitching and convenient numbering. The clips are heavy metal with a hook and a screw lock. They seem to be high quality and are basically overkill. Overall, I think these rings are high quality and are worth every penny of their slightly higher price.
