Used a mag drill like a drill press, slow speed, moderate pressure, with cutting fluid. Both the pilot bit and the carbide cutters did an excellent job of cutting through these steel plates. There were only 2 occurances when the cutting seemed to stop progressing. Those were cured by pulling out, cleaning shavings out of the hole/cut circle, and restarting with a fresh drop of cutting fluid.
