Review: Great Option - This case is really nice. It fits the 11 inch Air well and the pencil slot is on the top and has plenty of room to get it out. I am returning it though but due to the color. It’s a very pink toned purple, which just isn’t what I was looking for. Besides that, it’s great. UPDATE: I purchased the green and blue after I returned the purple and I’ve already returned the green one. The color of the case is almost sage but the keyboard is an entirely different shade. The blue one is a slightly metallic muted blue and really pretty. I haven’t decided if I’m going to keep the blue one or return it and keep looking since I originally wanted a muted purple. UPDATE 2: I decided to keep the blue. It's too pretty to return.
Review: Best item I’ve purchased in 2026 so far! - I purchased this keyboard for my iPad Air 5th Generation so that I could leave my laptop at home and take my iPad Air with me instead. What a great idea! And even better - the price was affordable! I also love the magnetic feature and the angles for working. I even tested out all the keys to ensure they work. The only CON I found was the TAB button did not work for me when composing an email in the GMAIL app. It did, however, work in GoodNotes just fine. I liked the Apple Pen holder as well. It seems very secure. Someone in the reviews mentioned that when folded up, there’s a possibility of scratching the surface of the iPad - I have a glass screen protector so I think it’s fine if you have the same. To be extra vigilant, I placed a tissue between the keyboard and the iPad screen. I also liked the various backlight options. I am good not using it either. Also, I loved that it came pre-charged so I can play around with it right away. If I had to change anything, it would be the weight. (It still weighs less than bringing my laptop) Overall I really love this product for travel and on to go for meetings, since everything I do on my iPad links to my iCloud and can be opened through my MacBook Pro. Including a video done on GoodNotes.

**Q: How do I pair the keyboard with my iPad?**

here's the step about the keyboard connect to you iPad,
1. Slide power switch ON/OFF to on position, power indicator light blue 5s then goes off.
2. Press “Connect” button, paring indicator flflashes.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth at your tablet Settings. Find the “Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard” and select it, it will connect automatically.
4. Paring indicator goes off after connect successfully.
If there is no response, please ignoring the previous Bluetooth Keyboard device and restart the keyboard.

**Q: How to change the backlight color on the keyboardt, can it be turned off when not in use?**

Thanks for your asking.
Harvopu keyboard for ipad air 4th 5th generation has 7 colors adjustable backlight.
Here are the steps of adjusting backlight.
1. Seven-color light cycle mode: Press the "Bulb" key once to turn on the keyboard backlit, press twice to turn on the seven-color light cycle mode, press there times to turn off the backlit.

2. Manual change backlit color: Press the "Bulb" key to turn on the keyboard backlit. Then press the "RGB" key next to it to switch the color you like between 7 colors and click at a time to switch a color.
Tips: If you want to turn off the backlight, please press the "Bulb" key. One Click closing, easy to save worry

According to what you said, It is highly likely that the problem is due to incorrect input method switching.( IOS: Click "ControI+Space" to switch Input Method)
If you have tried and still cannot, you can turn off the keyboard and ignore it in the iPad Settings and pair the keyboard again, switch to the correct system, your iPad is an IOS system, so you need to click Fn+"E" to switch the system before using it.

This case is really nice. It fits the 11 inch Air well and the pencil slot is on the top and has plenty of room to get it out. I am returning it though but due to the color. I purchased this keyboard for my iPad Air 5th Generation so that I could leave my laptop at home and take my iPad Air with me instead. What a great idea! And even better - the price was affordable! I also love the magnetic feature and the angles for working. I even tested out all the keys to ensure they work. The only CON I found was the TAB button did not work for me when composing an email in the GMAIL app. It did, however, work in GoodNotes just fine. I liked the Apple Pen holder as well. - Came charged. - Connects quickly. - Functions exactly as expected. - Directions on back of keyboard are helpful. WORTH THE PRICE! I recommend getting if you want a detachable keyboard WITH an iPad case. Much better than bringing a laptop around, and much more affordable than Apple's. Only slight annoyance is that when I close the case *without* the keyboard, there is a small gap between the screen and the case cover, so iPad screen can still light up. Not a huge problem though.
