The grey coloured one (called "DESIGN1" in the desertcart listing for ASIN B000NMAY74) is sold by desertcart themselves (not a Marketplace seller) for only £2.67 whereas other colours are £7.53 - Amazing price, but maybe an alarmbell I should have heard ringing... What arrived within 4 days is complete rubbish. It is a little bit smaller than my previous one, but more importantly it has a tiny weak magnet in it which won't hold it onto any surface, let alone a magnetic glass white board (which usually require strong neodymium magnets). I cut it open, took the magnets out and posted a picture here so you can compare (and by the way: They are both the same thickness). In addition the one that desertcart is selling and shipping stinks out the entire room with a really nasty chemical smell - this is not from the spray you use to wipe the whiteboard, but from the Eraser itself. I can't be bothered to send this back and this eraser will go straight in the bin. I am wondering whether this really is a Bi-Office Eraser or possibly a fake knockoff that desertcart is selling. Review: Not worth the money. Does not do what it's supposed to. - Like other customers, I bought this because of the supposed magnetic qualities. It is not magnetic at all. I thought it was because the white board itself wasn't magnetic, but I tried it on the metal at the side of the whiteboard and it did not stay. I tried it on the fridge in the staff room (where there are other magnets) and it did not stay. So either the magnetic has lost its magnetic feel, or the thing I can feel inside of it is not a magnet. As for the eraser itself, it smudges the ink of the pens all over the board. I've only written one sentence and rubbed it out and now that part of the board looks grey and will get worse if I continue to use the "eraser". As a primary school teacher (who regularly buys her own resources) I was taken with the affordable pricing. I was extremely disappointed that on firsy use it barely removed the pen and even with a firm hand it mainly smudges the ink instead of wiping it away.
