Removes all types of silicone and sealant by breaking up and digesting the material, leaving surfaces clean and ready for re-sealing. Chemically digests cured and uncured silicone elastomers and polymers, leaving their remnants easy to rinse away with water or solvent. Should be used to remove old silicone sealant during renovations. Used to separate wash hand basin from a shower panel ( used panels for wall cladding). Tested the product first and no damage to the shower panel. Applied to silicone sealant round back of basin. Followed instructions as to how long to leave. Silicone scraped off panel and basin easily using plastic scraper. Easy to use and no mess. Review: Good product. Did the job. - I used this on old sealant around the edge of my bath to prepare for new tiles. The tube isn’t very large but you do need a gun for this. I didn’t have one so just pushed the inside along with a piece of wood. (Probably not ideal) I covered the sealant and left it overnight. The next morning I washed it off using a bathroom sponge and it came off straight away. There were a few bits left which I manage to get off with a blade.
