If my eyes were closed I would probably want to eat it. A small bit goes a long way, use it sparingly. It also contains witch hazel which is a great astringent and useful in reducing acne. There are a lot of comments that say it burns. The only sensation I feel after using this is one of deep clean and calm. My face feels lovely and fresh. But then I only use this once a week, perhaps these commenters are using this everyday, I wouldn't recommend using it daily as it is a 'deep' cleanser and may strip a lot of your skins natural oils away if used daily. Maybe once or twice a week is best. Edit - I realise where the comments regarding burning come from. If you leave the mask on your face for more than a few minutes, you will get a more intense 'tingling' sensation. But I think this is just the menthol as when I wash the mask off, my face isn't red or inflamed and the tingling sensation goes away pretty quickly.
