Review: Slower charge rate minimises overheating - Perfect for me, does the job, looks good, extra weight is ok and the fold out flap gives a useful phone stand. My use is not for a rapid full charge but just to attach as a top up when iPhone battery is low whilst out and about, particularly when using walking and health apps. Not a fast charge which worried me to start with but after some research I realised slower charging is an advantage as this minimises the heat generated by the power bank. My iPhone often gets hot when using apps such as fitness and satnav causing excessive heat and low power mode or even suspending use if too hot. So attaching this power bank when needed whilst out and about is a better option than using a fast charge device which would quickly cause overheating. Is easily detached when enough charge giving both power bank and iPhone time to cool down before attaching again. Whilst connected and using these apps the power bank does give a net increase to the battery charge, for example from 13% to 27% in perhaps a half hour or so before detaching to allow cool down before low power mode is activated or the phone suspends itself! Review: Very Handy - Its very light weight, i can carry it anywhere. Its a slow charging tho, but perfect to bring in case of emergency. It fits my purse. Still a good buy for me. ## Features - Power Without the Bulk: Experience the convenience of long-lasting power with Advanced Mini Cell Technology, featuring a compact Magsafe battery pack that doesn't sacrifice charging efficiency—ideal for on the move lifestyles as a portable charger. - Effortless Charging Experience: Magnetic Alignment and Charging ensures your iPhone 17/16 snaps into place for a secure, efficient charge every time with this Magsafe battery pack—no more fumbling with cables during emergency situations or while travelling as a portable charger. - Elegance in Your Palm: The Ultra-Slim Design at just 12.8 mm thin enhances portability and handling, making it a sleek companion for your iPhone 17/16 as a Magsafe battery pack that easily slips into your pocket or handbag, doubling as a portable charger. - View It Your Way: Enjoy hands-free video calls or streaming with the Versatile Viewing feature, thanks to the built-in foldable kickstand that supports your iPhone 17/16 in an upright position—perfect for home use or while on the move with this Magsafe battery pack and portable charger. - What You Get: Anker 622 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), 60 cm USB-C to USB-C cable, welcome guide, worry-free 24-month warranty, and friendly customer service. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0B469LWF4 | | Amperage | 2.4 Amps | | Antenna Location | iPhone, smartphone | | Battery Capacity | 5000 milliamp_hours | | Battery Cell Type | Lithium Polymer | | Battery Weight | 2.68 Ounces | | Battery capacity | 5000 milliamp_hours | | Best Sellers Rank | 83 in Mobile Phone Portable Power Banks | | Brand | Anker | | Brand Name | Anker | | Colour | Misty Blue | | Compatible Devices | Mobile phones: iPhone 17 series, iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 series | | Compatible Phone Models | Audiovox CDM3000 | | Connector Type | USB Type C | | Connector type | USB Type C | | Country of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 15,456 Reviews | | Is Electric | No | | Is Product Cordless | No | | Item Dimensions | 10.5 x 6.6 x 1.3 centimetres | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 10.5L x 6.7W x 1.3Th centimetres | | Item Weight | 141 g | | Manufacturer | Anker | | Manufacturer Part Number | A1614031 | | Model Number | A1614 | | Number of Batteries | 1 Lithium Polymer batteries required. They offer wireless charging?** A: I’m pretty sure it will work with a Samsung, as all smart phones use the same wireless charging coils but this is for apples Mag safe functionality, the magnets are aligned for the new Apple phones not Samsungs. It should charge yours but the magnets are pretty strong, might not be a good idea, plus Samsung should have their own version, though I can’t suggest what that’d be. This would be a waste of money for you though, most of the cost is for the mag safe MFI stuff. **Q: I have a MagSafe iPhone 11 case, will this charge the phone in the same was a normal wireless charger will?** A: This particular Anker charger works only from an iPhone 12 but yes it works with MagSafe case on I use one with my phone . **Q: Can it wirelessly charge AirPod pros?** A: is most certainly can. **Q: Is there reverse wireless charging? Where having my phone plugged in can charge up the Power bank too?** A: It is ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Slower charge rate minimises overheating *by R***R on 10 September 2026* Perfect for me, does the job, looks good, extra weight is ok and the fold out flap gives a useful phone stand. Its a slow charging tho, but perfect to bring in case of emergency. It fits my purse. Still a good buy for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its okay *by Z***P on 11 April 2024* I recently got my hands on the Ker Power Bank, specifically the 622 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), boasting 5000mAh of power and a foldable, magnetic design. While it's a handy accessory to have, especially in emergency situations, I wouldn't say it's the most reliable option out there. First off, it does what it's supposed to do - it charges devices, which in a pinch, could save your life. However, my experience with it has been a bit underwhelming. I noticed that when charging my iPhone 15 Pro Max, it tends to get quite hot, which concerns me about potential long-term effects on the battery health. Additionally, it doesn't even manage to bring my phone up to a full 100% charge, which is disappointing. While the foldable and magnetic design is convenient for storage and transport, the performance leaves something to be desired. It's okay for those moments when you desperately need a charge, but I wouldn't rely on it as my primary power source. ## Frequently Bought Together - Anker 622 Magnetic Battery (MagGo), 5,000mAh Foldable Magnetic Wireless Portable Charger with Stand and USB-C Port (On The Side), Magsafe-Compatible for iPhone 16/15/14/13 Series - Apple AirTag 4 Pack --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/478793206-anker-622-magnetic-power-bank-5-000mah-foldable-wireless-portable](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/478793206-anker-622-magnetic-power-bank-5-000mah-foldable-wireless-portable) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
