Its slighty salty so most like it. Cant remember the dosage, as I use Lactoferrin for my cats herpes flare ups, and weepy eyes. It works better for my cat than lysine. **Q: Is this made from fermented corn?** A: The origin of our L-Lysine is Fermented from Glucose (Corn). **Q: Can you take this indefinitely?
