Review: Great Shaver - I have wet shaved for years but fancied giving an electric shaver a go. Used one many years ago but was not impressed. Read the positive reviews and thought I would give this one a try. Have to say I am very impressed. The shaver came fully charged and although quite lightweight it felt very well built. The display is invisible behind the smoked chrome front but shows when you turn it on. It is very quiet and I was amazed at how close a shave it gave. It will take a while to get used to it but so far I am very impressed. Review: Good value - Decided to try this shaver when the foil on my Braun series 5 needed replacement and this whole shaver was cheaper than a new foil for the Braun. First rotating head type shaver I’ve ever owned - plus side is that it’s good at cutting longer hairs, but as expected does not cut as close as a cylindrical foil and its difficult to shave under ones nose. This version has a pop up trim cutter (absent on cheaper variants) which is good. I like the percentage charged indicator. The battery lasts about ten dry shaves and it is easy to clean under a warm running tap. The charger has a USB plug, which suits me but maybe not everyone. I had to learn to hold it a different way to stop pressing the off switch all the time - but it is a perfectly natural grasp and no real issue.
