Due to the length of the bar it would not fit doorways which were close to a wall. I have since decided that rather than return for a refund, I would compromise and use it on other doorways in the house instead. It's extremely easy to put up and doesn't damage the door at all, it's also of a very high quality construction. The great thing about it is that the bar is high enough, far enough away from the door and wide enough that you can do chinups OR proper wide grip pullups even if you're tall like me (6'2"). Just make sure your ceilings are high enough!
