However, their battery live is rather poor.The lights are placed in well-lit areas, and spend much of the time in direct sunlight. On a perfectly clear day, around the summer solstice, the lights would remain on between 10pm and somewhere between 2 and 3am. However, on more dull days, the lights barely make it past midnight. Considering they are only coming in at around 9:30pm, 3 hours is not very good for the summer months. I dread to think how they will perform in winter, with shorter days and dusk occurring by 5pm. I fear they won't be on by 7pm. I'll update this review in winter to confirm or disprove my fears.It's a shame, as better battery life would make these perfect some gentle lighting in the garden and on our driveway.UPDATE. On speaking with the suppliers, a replacement item has been shipped. I'll update this review when these new lights have been tested properly. 10/10 for customer service. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Budget Lights *by G***H on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2018* I've not always had much luck with solar lighting on Amazon with these little lights are brilliant. I got them for our new chicken run and they do a great job casting a very good light. They seem to last quite a long time even with a dark rainy early spring day.
