Do have a trial run before using in anger though. - I needed a pressure sprayer to apply some algae and mould killer to the flags on the patio. This seemed popular on this site - and cheap too - so this is what I got. And it works well enough once it's set up, but you might want to learn from my mistake and fill it with some water for a trial run before using it in anger. This isn't an expensive item and that shows in some parts. The bottle and pump bits are fine but the sprayer parts seem fragile, particularly the tube that connects the handle to the spray head; I suspect that this won't survive me accidentally treading on it, so I'll just have to be careful. Having set it up - that's not complicated and doesn't take long - I filled it with algae killer and water and thought I'd be good to go. This was a mistake - not a huge one, and soon rectified, but a mistake nonetheless. See, the thing is that even when I thought I'd set it up, I found I still needed to make adjustments. Some of the connections needed screwing up a bit tighter, and the spray head which wasn't attached correctly needed to be taken off a reconnected, and then adjusted to give the spray pattern I wanted. Making all these adjustments meant that I and bits of the garden got covered in algae killer solution, which was irritating. It would have been better if I'd put a litre of water in it first and used that to get everything set up and if you buy one of these, I'd recommend that's what you should do. But when I did get it set up and working, it was fine. Because of the fragility of that spray arm I have my doubts about how long it's going to last, but that just means I'll have to try and be less clumsy than usual when I use it. But why not "wee" over the spot to mark your dominant position in the household and your dog should get the message and stop doing it there. **Q: Is there a shower head type nozzle that can be fitted ?** A: I don't know but you can widen the spray area of the nozzle. Works v well for spray watering orchids and bonsai trees. **Q: Can it be used with Thompson sprayable Water Seal (brick protector)?** A: I used mine to reseal new sand with block sealer on my monoblock drive after pressure wash with no problem. Far better than roller or brush. As sealer is very expensive and coverage poor otherwise, spray more economic. **Q: Kingfisher 3litre pump sprayer is this good reliable sprayer just need it to spray headstone and bike can it manage that?** A: It will spray OK for a year. My pump sprayer exploded (shattered into pieces) when I pressurised it a few months ago.
