Review: Vac pac bags - Brilliant quality as you expect from food saver
Review: Worth the higher price - I don't normally write reviews despite getting quite a few items from desertcart. I purchased a vacuum sealer and additional rolls of another brand of 'bags' (cut to size off the roll). I have had some problems with creases in the roll making sealing harder/inconsistent. I purchased foodsaver rolls in both 20cm & 28cm.These feel thinner and more flexible with a less textured feel to them. The also did not have a hard roll centre meaning they would not fit on the roll arms of my machine. Worried with and the crunched inner end I rolled the round the hard core from an earlier roll after cutting off a bag sized piece of the scrunched end. Now for the sealing test. Despite the material seeming thinner it is more than strong enough and the 'closed' end (seal only) worked perfectly. In went the produce and a normal vacuum & seal performed. Worries over, the more flexible material vacuumed tighter round the produce despite the crumpling, sealed perfectly 1st time and I am 98%% happy. I would be 100% happy if it came prewound on a hard core, not necessary for 'drop in' types of sealers. It might be extra effort to prepare the roll for my machine but I will get them again when I run out.
