It is really made and just looks really good and more importantly to me at least it looks the part for the hamper idea. The basket itself is very strong and woven willow never ceases to amaze me how strong it is so this will definitely last a long time regardless of your particular need for it and we have already ordered a second to hold logs for our wood burning stove..... because apparently logs need to be presented nicely!? The basket is lined with white material and attached to the basket by being tied with 4 bows around the outer rim of the basket. Not really much else I can say about this basket so to summarise: Liked the first one so much we bought a second, looks great, strong, environmentally friendly (willow), well made and excellent value for money. Very much ticks all the boxes for me and let's just hope Nanny is as impressed on the big day.... probably not. Seriously though this is really a no brainer purchase for anyone looking for an attractive basket / hamper. I’ve bought this as a carrier for my granddaughter’s Christmas present (a group of storytelling handpuppets). I’m pleased it’s lined as the wicker is roughly done with quite a few bits sticking out. On the plus side it has very sturdy wire passing from the handles and under the basket. It will definitely serve its purpose for now.
