**Q: What is the difference between this and wood epoxy?**
A: It is a two pack wood filler rather than an epoxy.  It is ideal for filling gaps or making up areas where you have needed to cut out rot back to clean wood

**Q: Can this fix wood enough to not crack when its placed under heavy strain? I used a different bed filler and it came off after a single use**
A: It depends how much filler and how deep it is applied. The timber to be filled should be 'completely' dust free prior to filling. Don't put the filler in too thickly. Make a number of applications. When the filler is freshly mixed it is moister and adheres to the timber better. If it starts to get a bit stiff it is better to throw what is left away rather than try to use it. It is better to mix up several smaller batches.

**Q: do I use primer on wood filler orunder coat**
A: Whatever you would use normally. Just treat the filler as wood.

**Q: would this work better than just using JB Weld to build up chipped off corners on a particle board speaker enclosure (i.e. not rot etc.)?**
A: I have no experience of JB Weld so can't comment on the comparison. The Ronseal should work but sanding off to precise corners (once fully dry) will be tedious. And you'll clearly need to paint / spray over afterwards.

Does what it says on the tin. Do not mix too much at once as it goes hard fairly quickly. Use the rotten wood hardener first.

I love it.Ok comes has full by weight so don't worry.Use a stiff bit of card as a board and guess how much you need and scoop it out with a filling/putty knife or something then add a small pea size amount of the hardener and mix together.Keep the metal pot closed for next time.Fill away it smells really harsh but fills wood amazing and rock hard and fill as level as you can unless you like loads of sanding. It sands really well and smooth.I used to on a hole in the plaster board too and it set rock hard and on some plastic sunglasses where the logo fell out.I love the stuff just wear a mask.
