Tamiya’s 1/35 scale Military series is ideal for constructing diorama’s. The details on the subjects are incredible and extremely accurate right down to the expressions on the soldiers’ faces. Tamiya has a reputation for detail and accuracy and this series is a perfect example of this. Review: Tamiya quality is always good. - Really good quality kit and lots of fun to build. You can't go wrong with Tamiya model kits. Review: Fantastic value kit - This was my first model kit in around 30 years and I chose it because it's a good all round kit in that you get the exterior to work with re armour, the interior to weather/wear and also 5 figures to practice on. The kit goes together fairly well although I did have a couple of minor fit issues with the hull but the level of detail is most acceptable for a kit which is so cheap to buy. The instructions are very clear and I was only left slightly pondering on a couple of parts but got there in the end Again with the figures it would have been nice for the detail to be slightly more defined to make painting easier and not to have as many seams from the moulding process to remove but I'll go back to my former point that for £12 for the whole kit it's not really fair to complain. I wonder if these kits were destined for the German market? **Q: Is Humbrol poly cement ok for this model, thanks.** A: Yes Humbrol either liquid or in the traditional tube is fine, resin models and photo -etched metal parts need super glue type products. Dave Rhodes. **Q: Hi what colour paints do you need** A: The Wehrmacht used many different colour schemes during the war that often differed depending upon where the conflict was. For my version I painted the whole vehicle in Khaki colour, Tamiya XF-49 and then added some very small streaks of a flat earth, Tamiya XF-52. Make sure you take the tracks off before painting. I recommend using an airbrush for painting. Amazon do an "Abest" kit which I have and which gives great results. Use Tamiya Acrylic paint for the best results and thin it out 2 parts thinner to 1 part paint. You can use cold boiled tap water for this but I prefer to use a Tamiya product, X-20A thinner. If you really want to go to town you can get various paint kits from Amazon which replicate thick mud and other debris to the bogie wheels to give a more realistic effect.
