Review: Working perfectly - Absolutely brilliant, fitted perfectly on my sink taps in the bathroom. Working great with hozelock hose pipe connection, no leaks or spray unlike when using the hozelock indoor tap connector.
Review: Very useful for curved taps. - Really like this item. I dont have an outside tap and the one available inside has a curve on top. This adapter allows me to attach securely to it so that I can attach my garden hose. Saves me multiple trips having to carry buckets to the bottom of the garden. The screw up design allows you to adjust for tap size and the leaver button allows for easy attachment and removal. Does not fit my other curved tap as it keeps slipping off, so check it won't move when fitted.

- TO FIT: Please unscrew the bottom part of the connector, push over tap and position the white seal over the spout. Pull the orange lever down and then screw up from the bottom until the item is tight. Turn on the water and if any water sprays out the side, turn the water off and reposition the white washer.

**Q: It works a treat on my tap, but I can't fit it in to my hose pipe. What size hose should I be using please?**
A: No matter the size of hose, it can't be directly fitted to the Universal Tap Connector Adapter without another type of adaptor going in between.  Because the UTCA has a male fitting, the hose will need a separate adaptor attached to it with a female fitting (a part usually supplied with new hoses).  When the 2 adaptors are then pushed together, the male fitting should slot inside the other to lock into position, and to separate are then pulled apart.  But I do miss the old-fashioned way of being able to simply push a rubbery end of a hose pipe over the end of a tap like a sleeve, no matter what style or shape of tap with no need for adaptors.

**Q: i dont have threads on my tap its just smooth and round My last hose had a Hozelock round mixer tap but that just came off constantly,What do i buy ?**
A: My daughter uses this on her kitchen and bathroom taps which dont have threads either.. it goes over the tap and sits just underneath the tap hole if that makes sense.. The orange lever is pulled down which locks it onto the tap .  The water goes through the white round washer bit that you can see on the diagram. Then the connector on the end of her hose just clicks on.

**Q: Will this fit a 2.75cm diameter kitchen mono-block tap?**
A: Well mine is a mono-block tap and the washer on the connector is 3cm diameter across. So with a little bit of jiggling to make sure the tap casting doesn't block the hole, you should be all right.

**Q: Will this fit a 1/2" or 3/4" hose end connector?**
A: It depends on the size of the connector fitting i have a flexible hose with brass fittings and you can use a different tap fitting on it.

Well i was surprised when this arrived with no instructions. I was upset that it looked like it would be useless and I couldnt figure out how it was gping to fit to the tap. The next day I was ready to return it when I decided to look at the picture again on amazon so I could figure out how it was fitted. I tried it the following day and to my surprise it fit the tap and after a little tightening i was good to go. I connected the other end of my hose (which already had a connector on it which came with the hose) and it worked!!! I was amazed that it worked so well. I use it on a small sink which is in my toilet near the back door and the sink is very shallow. My only problem is that there is not enough depth in the sink to allow the hose to hang freely so it sometime bends sharply as it hits the base of the sink. With a little innovative manipulation i can slightly lean the hose. This has nothing to do with the connector but more my sink. My tap has a squarish end but the device is to be fitted under the hole that the water comes our of on the tap. You can tighten it to make this fit more snugly and then pull down the lever to tighten this connection.it is a good little gadget that says what it promises. I wish I had bought this sooner, so far so good!
