Suggested would be Sheetmetal or rivets to secure. Gasket , installation manual and cutout template are provided. **Q: Can this be opened from the inside and outside?** A: Unit has interior handle to open from inside. Upon not fully closed you will be able to move lid to various positions from outside. **Q: Screw recommendation, I know that you need to get your own screws, what screws will suffice for install?** A: I was mounting it thru an aluminum roof on a UTV so I used self tapping metal screws. I had the handle break on one before my first trip. These metal ones are a perfect fit. Just remove outer vent (save the screws), install these metal ones, and apply a sealer chaulk or your choice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality *by A*** on Reviewed in the United States on September 3, 2019* UTV Roof Vent worked nice but could use a steel templet instead of paper. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/47894812-kay-black-aluminum-low-profile-popup-roof-vent-horse-trailer](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/47894812-kay-black-aluminum-low-profile-popup-roof-vent-horse-trailer) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
