The container says "premium polishing powder for granite, marble, and lapidary gemstones". I like the results on my tumbled rocks. No complaints here. **Q: Can this be used for polishing a dull marble floor?** A: It can be, but the Tenax marble polishing powder is more suitable. **Q: Is this the best product to use to polish a marble sink** A: Works very well on marble. I ran polish pads from 50 to 800 grit to resurface, then using compund on the 1200 & 3000 grit only. Worded great. **Q: Will it buff discoloration on granite counters?** A: We use it for polishing stone slabs . I have no input as far as dicolored granite .
