Help your home appliances perform better and last longer by integrating food grade Citric Acid into your cleaning routine!
- MAKE YOUR OWN BATH BOMBS: Perfect for making bath bombs in bulk, for yourself, friends and family and in batches. Making bath bombs is easy and a great activity to do with children to get them excited about bathtime. Add your favourite essential oils, colourings and favourite ingredients to create a moment of relaxation for your next bath. We recommend 2 parts of Hexeal Sodium Bicarbonate to 1 part Citric Acid for the perfect homemade bath bomb.
- HOMEMADE NATURAL BEAUTY PRODUCTS: Use Citric Acid as an ingredient when formulating skin-friendly cosmetics at home. Create hydrating face masks, peels and refreshing exfoliating scrubs to remove dead skin. When used as an ingredient in a formulation Citric Acid is great at brightening the skin, removing dark spots, redness and hyperpigmentation, leaving you with a glowing, bright complexion and a more even skin tone.
- HANDY FOOD PRESERVATIVE: Citric Acid helps jam preserves and jellies to set properly while enhancing the flavour. It can also be used in pickling to maintain the acidity in brine which can be used to preserve vegetables such as onions, cucumbers and peppers as well as adjusting acidity levels in cheese-making to make a perfectly balanced, tasty cheese.
- TRUSTED BRITISH COMPANY EST. 2009: Hexeal is a small and independent local UK business based in the quiet Norfolk countryside. We pride ourselves on safe, practical and high-quality products fit for home, personal, commercial and industrial use.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what are the dimensions?**
A: What do you mean by dimensions? The product is an acid powder used in the food industry and part of the chemical formulae for making MMS and CDS.If I can answer a question I will do so but 'dimensions' are a little vague. Please be more specific. If you mean the size of container 5kg is exactly the same as a 5ltr plastic container.

**Q: Can this product be used for descaling motorhome boilers and is it better than spirit vinegar**
A: Citric acid is powder. So you’re getting more value for money. In my opinion it’s better, cheaper and less smelly.

I own a cleaning company and from it I make my own cleaning products, clean the dishwasher, kettles, irons for jamming, lemonade etc..

So I would hazard a guess and say yes you can clean and descale your caravan boiler with it. Remember you are in control of the strength of the acid and how you dilute it. Unlike vinegar what is already diluted. However, I’d recommend you check the manufacturers instructions.

**Q: do you have to mix this product with bicarbonated soda**
A: I suppose it depends on what you are trying to make. I mix this with bicarbonate of soda; citric acid( with water taken out can't think of its chemical name ) and Epsom salts plus sucrose. It makes for me Health Salts that I take daily. Its the same as Andrews Liver Salts and flushes the system and clears up muscle cramps.

**Q: Anybody know the best way to mix with water to make a solution that I can spray on the bathroom taps please? Thankyou.**
A: just dissolve like sugar
