## Description

From the manufacturer Neodymium magnets are the most powerful magnets available (per unit volume) and are often referred to as Rare Earth Magnets. They have an elaborate manufacturing process of vacuum melting, milling, pressing and sintering. These magnets can then be sliced into smaller magnets or ground to tighter tolerances using diamond grinding tools. Neodymium magnets are relatively new, they were developed in the mid-1980s and can now be found extensively in countless modern applications from fridge magnets to wind turbines! You will find them in disc shapes, pot, ring, rectangular, rod and many more! Self-adhesive magnets are available with either their north pole or south pole on the non-self-adhesive face. When using two self-adhesive magnets to attract together, you need opposite poles facing each other to attract. Due to the incredible size to strength ratio of Neodymium adhesive products, please allow between 24 to 32 hours for the adhesive to cure.

So do check the measurements in case you're expecting something more substantial. But they're still more than strong enough to do the job I bought them for. The only issue is that, being so tiny, the fridge magnets I've created tend to rotate a bit when the fridge door is moved. I might have to put a second one on each to steady them, halving the number of clips I can turn into fridge magnets out of this pack. Very easy to install. With a whole stack of them, you simply peel the paper off the top magnet, stick it to the item you want to put it on, and then pull away the rest of the stack. They're also easy to store unobtrusively. Just stick them somewhere discreet on the side or back of the fridge.

I purchased these to suspend a bottle opener from the underside of my table out of the way. Using a couple of magnets the item was held pretty well in place, though three or four might have been better. This worked for about two weeks, until I found the item on the floor with one of magnets stuck to it, as the adhesive had failed. The magnet had been adhered to the card like surface on the bottom of an ikea coffee table, so less porous materials might be better. I'd hoped for a more permanent fix though. The above said, noticing the magnet had failed I stuck it to the back of a postcard and pinned the postcard to the fridge. The postcard has stayed there for month or two now, despite being removed a few times. This makes for quite a neat way to hang such things up! I should note, this is on the side of the fridge, so no comment on how strong the magnet holds the card up as the door is being opened and closed.
