Review: Outstanding - If you have never used this it is like silicone x 10, once it has gone off ( which takes quite a long time) it is brilliant, i used it to seal rubbers on the boot on my car, it can be used to seal windows, seal rubbers, make gaskets around oil and unlike silicone it is resistant to oils and chemicals it’s uses are limitless BUT !!!!! BEWARE! Use gloves!! If you get this on your hands wipe it off with white spirit or similar immediately !! It is an absolute nightmare to get off if you let it go even slightly hard, then once it has gone hard only time will remove it. Unlike silicone its drying time is in hours, no 30 minutes and its usable, it takes about 2-3 hours to begin to harden suitably / really 24 hours for a full cure, once it has cured it is difficult to remove off anything its stuck to

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The product says fast curing time, so what is that exactly? This is the only product which actually gives no indication of its normal curing time.**
A: I have only used this product in warm weather for filling tears in the rubber strip down the side of my boat and for this application I leave it for 24 hours before applying any more if required. I found that to mould it to the shape of the rubber strip it is best to use a plastic spatula dipped in white spirit. Hope this helps.

**Q: What color is it**
A: Sikaflex EBT+ comes in many colours, such as Clear-Black-White-Beige-Brown-Grey.

**Q: I have a crack in my shower tray which is leaking. would this be suitable to seal crack?**
A: Yes, the sikaflex is much better than a regular sealant.  I have just used it to repair a crack in a ceramic pot and its working well. The only thing about it is it's VERY sticky stuff. I use it wearing latex gloves to smear the stuff on with my finger, as it's hard to push out of the gun, and once I came to use it again it had sealed the nozzle with a solid plug of the stuff even though I had pushed a screw down the nozzle! So be careful not to get it everywhere when using it, you can't get it off again as it's far superior to your regular caulk.

**Q: Is it ok to fill window sill masonry cracks living on the seafront on the bristol channel? i.e salt and very high winds**
A: well i used it around the bath not sure, but go give it a go may work for a time, think you need 'putty'

Sticks like an absolute beast. Used it to stick my solar panel on T5.1 plus all extras to support (glands, wires etc). Amazing holding power. Do not get it where you don't want it. Like if Tar, superglue & treacle had a baby
