It did not come in any sort of generic wrapping/box - it just came in its own product box, which was not helpful to me because I had it delivered to my office and it was for a white elephant gift exchange, so everyone knew what I was bringing! and 2. the box had just a notched opening for closure (the lid was attached and to "securely" close the box, you shut the attached lid and slipped the notches into the sides) and the box was completely open upon delivery. There was no tape on the lid to keep it shut or anything. As far as I can tell, everything is inside, but I'm not going to be counting 600 letters so...I hope it's in there... Packaging & delivery is my only complaint! My order arrived promptly and is as pictured. Yes, the stand is a different color than the wood around the board. Everything arrived as described, but unfortunately half of my white letters were stuck together and could not be pulled apart. I saved what I could, but lost the rest, thank goodness stores like Target sell these pre-cut and in great condition. The pink and blue letters were fine, just difficult to cut away from the sticks they arrive on.
