It states it right on the roll. In my mind, it is the best print film out there. A local photo shop does my developing & enlarging. I use Ektar 100 mainly for landscapes, sunrise/sunset stuff & it is great. For sunset I overexpose it by about 1 and a half to 2 and with the lens I use, the colors just jump out & the saturation is great. **Q: Does Color Negative Film mean that it is for slides and not prints?** A: There are two kind of color films , Positive and negative and both can be printed. Positive films are also called slides . EKTAR is a color negative film. Hope this helps. **Q: Can this film be used for night time shooting?** A: The only night time shooting I have only Ektar 100 at is sunset and it has great color saturation for that. Once the sun goes almost down it is not the speed of film to have in your camera. I mostly use Ektar 100 for daylight landscapes or buildings. Kodak Ektar is so smooth it gives the fine detail look of digital while maintaining the otherworldliness of film. As a low speed 100 ISO it works well in all kinds of light but I would still recommend saving it for sunny days as it can really bring out the blue of the sky while giving high color saturation.
