They are reinforced around the ports on either end, which means they are a little stiff but it prevents the usual process of bending (which then inevitably leads to that sad cycle of fraying and eventual snapping of the cable). So far I have not noticed any slowness in charging (using on Android phone), which I have noticed with other charging cables.The cables are definitely worth the price for the added durability and reliable build quality, and they function just as well as the original charging cable I was using. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect length and durability, very impressed, I recommend them, fast charge works *by M***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 March 2019* I bought these as I needed longer cables for using my phone in bed.
