The only maintenance needed is to occasionally paint the wooden laths & metal supports. You also need to periodically put a new pulley rope in. Actually this is very cost effective as there's enough to redo our pulley twice.There are some great instructions on YouTube so even nervous DIY-era will find it simple. And this is where this wonderful pulley line comes in - it fits perfectly through the pulley system, runs exceedingly smooth & ties off easily at the wall. It is comfortable to handle & you shouldn't suffer from rope burns - unless you unleash your inner Tarzan & swing across the room on it - as they used to say on tv "don't try this at home"!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong enough *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 January 2019* Been using for over six months and seems to be ok for strength.
