I've been noticing receding gumlines on some of my teeth, where the gums had started to peel back and expose the root. I don't suffer from gum disease and the gums had receded purely from over-excessive brushing.I've been using it for 4 days and already my gums do look pinker and healthier, whereas before they had looked fairly angry where they were receding. I'm not holding out any hopes for gum "regrowth", but my gums do seem firmer and the recession less noticeable. Hopefully by the end of the 4-week course of Gengigel (both mouth rinse and gel), I will be much happier with the way they look and feel! The mouth rinse is very gentle- it does have a slightly strange (but not unpleasant) taste, and makes your mouth feel very clean. I much prefer it to Corsodyl, which is very chemical in taste, plus Gengigel has the added bonus of not staining your teeth.Incidentally, I also had a rather large mouth ulcer near my tonsils when I started using Gengigel a couple of days ago, which was giving me lots of grief and didn't seem to want to go anywhere. A couple of days of mouth rinse use and it's gone completely- which is much better than any other mouth rinse/anti-ulcer product I've used.
