Will this unit work on those?** A: Although not expensive this is a waste of money. First, the bottom where you are to place a handle is to small. I couldn't find anything to use. I eventually used a small pipe,that I borrowed from my neighbor, with the help of duct tape. I also have the same type of bulbs as you. I broke a 2 inch in the socket and could not get the 5 inchers to turn.I would not recommend this product to anyone. I eventually went out and bought a tall ladder and used my hands. **Q: Does this work for standard a11 style bulbs** A: Sorry I don't know what an a11 is. I have use it on regular shaped light bulbs. The attachments that came with my pole fit a multitude of different shapes. **Q: Would this bulb changer fit a docapole?** A: Yes!! I just bought this item and a 24-foot DocaPole, and it fit perfectly. Even if it didn't fit, you could still duct tape it on. **Q: How does it hold onto the bulb?** A: Insert the standard size incandescent bulb to the inlet then the spring expand the bulb goes in and catches the bulb ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Didn't work for me and very expensive *by C***Y on 17 March 2022* This product is a good idea but unfortunately it didn't work for me. It is also very expensive - £15 for a piece of plastic and a bit of metal threaded through - you have to either buy a pole separately or spend a further £20 for the matching pole just to change a light bulb that will probably only need replacing every 6 years or so ...! I bought it out of desperation because the lightbulb on my stairs has blown. It did fit to the separate pole I had to purchase but when I reached up to change the bulb, because it just dangles on a piece of flex, all it was doing was bending the flex wire. It will cost me too much more to return the product and I will just have to use a torch on the stairs in the dark for ever more. ### ⭐ It doesn't work *by M***Y on 11 March 2022* Bought to change bayonet fitting energy saver bulbs. In theory it should work but in practice it doesn't.
