I had to change plug. **Q: Can this be used in the shower?** A: I wouldn't use this in the shower, even in normal use water gets inside after a while. Mine stopped working after 3 months and when I opened it up it was full of water after cleaning and drying it only worked for a further week so it is now gathering dust in a cupboard. **Q: Can the rechargeable battery be replaced?** A: My flosser is not battery operated - it is rechargeable through electricity! **Q: Mine won’t now hold a charge. Will also fit in your handbag too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by J***P on 18 May 2023* Excellent value and does the job well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Removes food debris from between the teeth *by C***S on 10 December 2017* I was recommended this product by my dental hygienist. She suggested it because I have slight receding of the gums. I use this product every evening, filling it up once with warm water and a little mouthwash for the top teeth, and refilling it again for the bottom. It definitely works, at the risk of sounding a bit gross you can see the food debris that the water jet flushes out in the sink after use. It can be a bit messy at first, but once you’re used to it, it’s very simple, very quick and very effective. One star dropped simply because the recharger has to be plugged in to the back of the product, and I would prefer it to have a stand like an electric toothbrush. Plus there’s no charge light indicator so I don’t know when it needs a recharge until it stops, nor do I know when it’s fully charged after I plug it in. These are quite minor details, the product itself is very good indeed and I would definitely recommend it if you get food stuck between the teeth. Having used this product and seen how much gets stuck in there I really don’t think a toothbrush alone is sufficient, and this is much quicker than flossing or using those mini brushes for between the teeth.
