It did feel awkward at first holding the pan in the right hand and findin the best position for the strainer due to the length of the handle but soon adapted and found the best position to hold it on the pan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy but if right handed you need to hold the pan in your left. *by W***K on 17 December 2017* Overall is does the job intended but if you are right handed and would normally hold the pan in your right hand then some adjustments are needed - meaning easiest to use if pan is in the left hand. It has a lip which is very handy to hold against the pan - the only problem being that if you hold it in your left hand which I would have preferred the lip is in the wrong place and then the food is more likely to fall out the pan. I've had to adjust to having the pan in my left hand and this in my right - then the lip is not facing your body and you get the benefits.
