So whilst I haven't tried to stick to an aluminium car I suspect they won't work. **Q: Are these fully magnetic or with two strips?** A: These L plates have a fully magnetic back which secures well to the surface of the car. **Q: Does it fit through the letterbox?** A: As long as not packaged too big yes.
